GE
Fanuc's flexible off-the-shelf computing platforms can be readily configured
to meet the processing, I/O, video and graphics needs of a variety of
different applications. Our platforms are based on open systems architectures,
so they allow for technology insertion, and support the COTS concept.

Rugged
Ethernet Switches bring the high-speed network connectivity of
a managed Layer 2 and Layer 3 gigabit Ethernet switch together
with a lightweight, compact, milled-aluminum alloy chassis to provide
TCP/IP functionality in harsh environments.

Our
products and expertise are at the heart of many advanced military
video and image applications, including a range of hardware modules
for real time video image processing. These real time applications
perform image enhancement, video signal handling and switching,
and video format conversion. These modules are available in both
6U VME and PMC format to permit the addition of image processing
to standard sub-system configurations with the minimum of integration
activity. Functionality includes tracking, detection, fusion, stabilization,
mosaic image creation, enhancement, simulation, matching and the
generation of synthetic targets.

This
chassis is designed to carry a processor AdvancedMC that controls
the PCI Express backplane and up to 7 additional AdvancedMCs to
add communications and I/O options.

Our
rugged systems are designed to survive and thrive in harsh environments.
They stand up to challenges like temperature extremes, shock, vibration,
EMI and G-forces. If you need a rugged system, our engineering
team can quickly create a custom design based on our extensive
product portfolio. A custom design might involve minor adjustments
to a standard system and board, or fully custom interfaces and
configurations. We offer skilled and timely development support
as well as engineering development units.

Remote
Interface Units offer a cost-effective, lightweight, low power
interface for Vehicle Management Systems applications. Designed
for operation in harsh vibration, shock, and EMI environments,
the control interface is highly flexible, giving you a great deal
of control for on-the-fly configuration.

DINrail-mounted,
industrial PCs offer a compact design and meet the needs of rugged
applications with flexible I/O configuration options, shock/vibration
immunity, and fanless operation.

GE
Fanuc's rugged chassis are designed for severe environmental conditions
and they are often developed based on customer requirements.
|
|
Standard
card cages are available in several dimensions and slot counts
within the 19” enclosure technology. GE Fanuc also build
standard and customized versions to meet specific application requirements.
|
|
Starter
cages or starter kits are preconfigured enclosures designed for
development purposes. Based on the required system controller architecture
(Intel® or PowerPC®) and bus system (CPCI or VMEbus), GE
Fanuc can provide the appropriate development system for your specific
needs.

Choose
a flat panel display ranging from 5.7" through 21", integrated
with a touch screen for operator input. Flat panel computers are
powered by either a Pentium-class SBC up to 3.06 GHz and offering
all PC-compatible functions or Thin Client allowing low-power,
wide temperature range and diskless operation. Computer Dynamics
flat panel computers and Industrial PCs are available in a variety
of mechanical configurations ranging from open-frame to complete
enclosed products with plastic enclosures and full agency approvals.

Our
innovative backlighting technologies, system controls design and
environmental packaging designs are highlights of our hazardous
area product lines. Computer Dynamics products operate in environments
from outdoor extreme heat and cold to controlled indoor environments — wherever
hazardous materials such as gases or powders may be present. If
certifications such as ATEX, NEC 508, Class I Division 1, Ex, CE,
CENELEC and IEC are requirements for your industrial computer needs,
we have your solution.

Computer
Dynamics flat panel monitors allow the advantages of a flat panel
operator interface to be realized with almost any video signal,
including standard RGB, Synch-on-Green (SOG), Composite Synch,
NTSC and PAL. As an industrial flat panel monitor manufacturer,
we offer systems with flat panel displays ranging from 6.4" through
30" available as open-frame solutions or with a variety of
enclosure and mounting options that make our products superior
for industrial applications
|
|
These
systems allow you to custom configure a variety of enclosures and
other hardware to fit your requirements. Our systems are designed
for high volume users in demanding mission critical applications,
and are available with active and passive PCI Bus backplanes that
support legacy ISA cards. From small 2-4 slot systems to 4U and
higher rackmount systems, Computer Dynamics provides the options
that can complete your projects with the highest reliability.

|
Embedded
systems typically operate a single application and Thin Clients
allow them to execute centrally located programs at a remote location.
These types of systems usually do not require the processing power
that our other industrial computer systems offer. Our Thin Client
and Embedded Systems can help you reduce your system costs, while
providing scalability and flexibility.
