AXIS
- Advanced Multiprocessor Integrated Software - is a performance-optimized
software environment designed to accelerate the development of
complex signal processing applications requiring multiprocessor
PowerPC® systems. Designed for use with our signal processing
hardware, AXIS provides significant flexibility, allowing selection
of functions required for the specific task, plus the ability to
reconfigure or scale the system to meet future application demands.
AXIS provides a foundation with immediate and long term value,
supporting our current and future product developments with seamless
integration between the single board computer, signal processing
and sensor I/O.

The
challenge of capturing and processing sensor data is made significantly
easier by our extensive range of data acquisition, processing and
storage solutions. We have one of the industry’s widest and
most flexible collections of analog input boards, analog output
boards, signal conditioning boards and blade products for Software
Defined Radio, wireless, sonar, acoustic test and measurement
and radar applications. We also offer a number of systems, including
embedded PCI-based or VME-based data acquisition, processing and
recording system solutions and signal analysis solutions. Combined
with our signal processing capabilities and our expertise in system
integration, we are able to deliver sophisticated subsystems based
on these products.

Software
Defined Radio is an enabling technology that is revolutionizing
the RF world by placing the data converters as close to the antenna
as possible. GE Fanuc Embedded Systems is at the forefront of this
advanced technology with a family of state-of-the-art open architecture
modules that include large capacity FPGA devices for customer-specified
signal processing functions (available in PCI, XMC/PMC and VME
formats). These modules can be used for a wide range of applications,
including radar, communications, electronic warfare, signal intelligence,
cellular base stations, RF test equipment and the like. Both board-level
and system-level products are offered in order to reduce time to
market. For multi-mission and cognitive radio applications, our
Software Defined Radio blades deliver processing power, plus receive
and/or transmit functions in one VME or PCI bus slot.

Our
multiprocessor single board computers provide distributed and shared
memory processing architectures using the latest Freescale™ discrete
processor family including MPC7447A and MPC7448 CPU's running up
to 1.4 GHz. Our hardware platforms support scaling of multiple
processing nodes (on-board and multi-board node scaling) to create
high performance multiprocessing solutions. The board architectures
strike a balance between processors sharing global memory and I/O
resources and individual processors, each with its own dedicated
memory resources.

TS
Series Processor boards are the foundational element of our FPGA
Computing family. Each TS Series board has an Altera FPGA processor
chip, a PCI interface, SRAM, SDRAM, an I/O module, and expansion
slots for additional FPGA Computing power. These elements are interconnected
by a high speed bus on the board.

Customize
your FPGA Computing design with I/O modules which provide flexibility
in the face plate connectors and transmission protocols available
for use with the TS Series processing board.

Development
Kits provide all the software and documentation required to quickly
program your applications on the TS Series platform. This includes
the PCI board, Wave FPGA Software, Altera Quartus Software, SOPC
Builder, NIOS Software, TS Series Users Guide and Programmers Guide.
