The Elma Bustronic MicroTCA backplanes
come in a 14-slot single star or dual star design. All Elma Bustronic
MicroTCA backplanes are compliant to the MicroTCA.0 Specification
Rev 1.0.

The Elma Bustronic Star MicroTCA backplane comes
with 12 AMC, 1 power, and 1 MCH slots, all in the full size configuration.
The Star backplane utilizes the pressfit style connector, with
compression-mount version optional.

The Elma Bustronic Dual Star MicroTCA backplane
comes with 10 AMC, 2 power, and 2 MCH slots in the full size configuration.
The Dual Star backplane utilizes the compression style connector.

The MicroSlim backplane features slots for 6 AMC,
1 PM (Power Module), 1 MCH (MicroTCA Carrier Hub), 1 JSM (J-TAG
Switch Module) and 2 CUs (Cooling Units). Compression-mount connectors
are used in the backplane for increased reliability and superior
(easier and more flexible) routing.
